Ed Szaky, CPM, PCAM
President, Matrix Property Management

Ed Szaky is the founder and President of Matrix Property Management, a division of Matrix Real Estate Services, Inc.  Szaky first founded the company to serve as a source of revenue to support a non-profit organization that focused on providing housing for homeless families in Contra Costa County.
In 2005 Matrix Property Management became part of Matrix Real Estate Services, Inc., serving the needs of common interest developments—no longer part of the non-profit community.

Szaky earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California at Berkeley in Political Science.  Szaky holds the professional designation of Certified Property Manager from the Institute of Real Estate Management and Professional Community Association Manager from Community Association Institute. 

Szaky has been a licensed California real estate broker since 1978.  Szaky’s designation of Certified Community Association Manager from the California Association of Community Managers is pending.

Janis Schock, CCAM
Vice President, Matrix Property Management

As Vice President of Matrix Property Management Janis Schock brings more than 19 years of experience and knowledge in the common interest development industry.  Janis earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix.  She holds the professional designation of Certified Community Association Manager from the California Association of Community Managers. 

Accomplishments:

• 19 years in Common Interest Industry
• Regional Manager for large management firm managing over 100,000 doors in California
